Please review the following documents discussed at the March 21 Funding Work Group meeting. Send your comments or suggestions to Adriane Borgias (abor461@ecy.wa.gov) by Monday, April 1, 2013.
Funding Concepts.docx: Appendices have been added to the original document. Add lists of projects in the Appendices for potential funding. (The Appendices are broken out into topic area to help jumpstart the thinking process. These topics can be modified too if they don’t work for the Task Force.)
Boilerplate Paragraphs SRRTTF.docx: This boilerplate document was derived from different write ups that the SRRTTF has developed. This language will be used for preparing grant applications, fact sheets, etc. as needed. Please review, wordsmith, and comment.
Innovative Projects Handout.pdf: This a potential funding source through EPA’s Office of Solid Waste. At some point, the opportunity to submit for funding will come up.
Consumer Choice Projects.docx: This proposal is in response to a potential funding source through EPA’s Office of Solid Waste. The Office of Solid Waste doesn’t directly address water quality issues. In order to successfully apply for this funding, the SRRTTF will need to show how it is relevant in the proposal. Review and comment on this proposal, including your thoughts as to: 1). whether this is a good project or another one should be pursued (if so, what?) 2) comments on the concepts and approach and 3) other comments as needed.
