Spokane River Water Quality Public Opinion Surveys: Kootenai, Spokane, Lincoln, & Stevens Counties

The Spokane River Forum recently commissioned Robinson Research to conduct a Spokane River Water Quality public opinion telephone surveys in Kootenai, Spokane, Lincoln and Stevens Counties. Two reports on these surveys are now available. One report provides results for Spokane, Lincoln, and Stevens Counties in Washington; the other for Kootenai County in Idaho. The Kootenai County report also compares similarities and differences with WA respondents.

Andy Dunau of the Spokane River Forum emphasizes that “There are, of course, many ways to analyze and correlate data.”  Andy would like the Task Force to know that if there are particular items they are interested in or would like more detail on, let him know and they will see if it can be mined from the survey data.

Adriane Borgias and Marlene Feist were at a meeting where they discussed the survey results. Marlene has a PowerPoint presentation from Robinson Research and she is willing to edit for Toxics Task Force presentation.

Task Force members are asked to let Chris Page (Ruckelshaus Center, c.page@wsu.edu) know if they think it would be valuable to have a presentation on this topic at an upcoming Task Force meeting.
